We are excited to be working with an established and successful manufacturing and installation business based in Avonmouth, who are looking for an Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join their team on permanent basis.
Key Duties include:
- Process Monthly Payroll using Sage 50 Payroll. (circa 40 staff on a monthly basis)
- Prepare and arrange payments for all our sub-contractors on a weekly/monthly basis
- Check the Bank daily, write up receipts and payments and post to Sage.
- Chase due and overdue invoices on a regular basis.
- Post Sales Invoices to Projects & Sales Ledger.
- Provide Purchase Ledger cover during holidays etc.
- Assist with Credit Card postings during holidays.
- Prepare Prepayments and Accruals to enable Financial Controller prepare Management Accounts.
- Prepare and Submit VAT Returns.
- Prepare and Submit CIS Returns.
- Prepare Group Recharges.
- Ad hoc tasks as required by Company Directors or Financial Controller.
The ideal candidate for this role with have worked in a similar role previously, have experienced using Sage Payroll and be computer literate and comfortable using Excel.
In return this role offers up to £30k as a starting salary, 25 days holiday plus your birthday off, onsite parking and a friendly team.
