Change Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing construction business based in Cheddar that are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team. Working directly alongside the Senior Project Manager you will support in the running of various domestic construction projects (ranging from Kitchen refurbishments to house renovations and loft conversions) from initial site survey and estimating, through to post completion meetings with the client.
This role offers a great opportunity to a candidate that can demonstrate their desire and enthusiasm to progress their project management career. You will have proven experience working within project management, excellent communication skills, be confident using MS Excel and other software packages and be numerate as you will be estimating jobs and tendering for new business.
Some duties will include:
- Assist in managing trades, employed staff, and project programs to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the procurement and ordering of materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Maintain and manage project accounts, providing accurate reports to the Senior Project Manager.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensure that all work on-site adheres to our high standards of quality and safety.
- Ad-hoc support to management and senior project managers
Given the nature of the role travel is required to client sites, so a driving licence is needed as well as access to your own vehicle. Milage will be covered for all travel outside of the Cheddar office.
In return this role offers a salary of between £25k and £30k depending on experience and the ability to learn from an experienced team within excellent offices.
