This role as a customer services coordinator dealing with sales and purchase order processing for key customers, will definitely appeal to you if you pride yourself on your ability to juggle a number of priorities and enjoy working in a busy and fast moving environment.

There will be lots of customer, supplier and internal interaction most frequently via email rather than via telephone.

In a key role between the customer and the company ,you  will be working on Excel making sure that all orders placed by customers are accurate, confirmed and authorised before being placed through to manufacture and shipping .

Monitoring sales data ,tracking order status and maintaining forecasts,

Ensuring materials are in stock for production, working to production lead times and ensure excellent customer service across the business.

Working closely with suppliers, reviewing performance, quality and service ,problem solving and escalating as necessary to both buying and operational management.

It’s important that you are comfortable using a number of internal IT systems and you create effective working relationships with your colleagues internally across finance, customer service, sales ,planning and beyond. Always going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the order to finished product journey.

Other key strengths required in this role include being conscientious, cooperative with an eye for detail and accuracy ,working to clearly defined processes and procedures in a department with experienced supervision in place.

You will have the ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure whilst meeting business and customer deadlines and be comfortable building relationships with colleagues internally, liaising with customers whilst working in a busy and focussed department and be able to recognise the need for a heads down approach when the demands on your time and the business are high.
