Change Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist manufacturing business based in the Weston-super-Mare area to recruit an interim Finance Manager on a 3 month FTC with the potential of the role going permanent for the right candidate.
Looking after a small team and reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the sites financial reporting as well as offering strategic support to the senior management team.
Duties for this role include:
- Management of the accounting function, to include managing and mentoring a small team
- Preparation and presentation of weekly financial reports and monthly management accounts to the senior management team, providing analysis and commentary
- Manage the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of the business
- Input into the year end audit process and liaise with the company auditors.
- Complete all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies.
- Monitoring gross margins/contributions with focus on optimising sales mix.
- Monitor working capital management, with particular focus on inventory, credit management and cashflow.
- Generate the necessary financial information that will highlight profit potential and/or inefficiencies.
This is a commercially focussed finance role where you will have significant input in senior management meetings. As such the successful candidate will need to be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience working within a manufacturing environment.
In return this role offers a competitive salary of £55k - £60k.
