Change Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established and well respected business in Weston-super-Mare who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Supervisor into their finance team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high volume purchase ledger environment and be comfortable with all elements of ledger control. Also experience working with / supporting the payroll function would be a huge advantage as this will also form part of the role.
Duties include:
- Supervise the Purchase Ledger function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Work with internal departments to ensure the smooth processing of invoices.
- Manage supplier statement reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes relating to the purchase ledger.
- Resolve supplier queries.
- Process ad hoc payments, including proforma invoices.
- Complete monthly credit card postings and reconciliations.
- Assist with the processing of weekly payroll on a rota basis. (Sage Payroll)
- Support general office administration, including opening and distributing post.
This role will also include reporting using MS Excel, so you will need to feel comfortable analysing data on this system utilising lookup tables.
