Change Recruitment are pleased to be assisting an excellent engineering business based in Bridgwater to recruit someone into their purchasing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and professional fulfilment of all procurement needs within the business.
the main duties for this role include:
- Procurement of all parts and components in accordance with MRP demand and build schedules
- Maintain BOM tracker for all build projects
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and agreeing on the best commercial option for the business
- Raising PO’s as required
- Consolidate and seek out new suppliers as required
- Liaising with suppliers to address any quality or delivery issues
This role requires a candidate with an investigative and questioning nature, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively both internally and externally. Ideally you will have some experience within a purchasing and engineering environment.
