Sales Administrator/Estimator

My client, a manufacturing business based just on the outskirts of Langford, are currently looking for a Sales Administrator/Estimator to join their team. This role acts as the first point of contact for customers, both B2B and B2C.  You will provide technical advice on products, quotations and liaise between internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the sales order process.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responding to emails and incoming telephone calls in a timely, professional and positive manner
  • Providing customers with quotations and price information
  • Following up enquiries and quotations with the view to convert these into orders
  • Processing sales orders with high accuracy
  • Liaising with the Production Department to ensure that lead times can be met
  • Keeping customers updated and informed
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Managing filing and record keeping


This is a very busy role, and requires someone who is able to multi-task and prioritise their workload accordingly.  You will need to build up a good understanding of the products offered quickly and be confident liaising with customers over the phone and via email.

You will have good attention to detail as many orders are bespoke and have many different criteria.
