Change Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established business as a works Scheduler. This role will act as the bridge between taking on new jobs and allocating them to engineers for completion. As such you will be exceptionally organised and be an excellent communicator.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Accurate input of all works requests
- Allocation of works to engineers
- Manage the production of engineer daily ‘Schedules of Work’
- Raise new tasks, including operative training and holidays, ordering parts and booking sub-contractors where required
- Maintain optimum work volumes and minimise backlogs of work outside client service levels
- Always ensure the department deliver excellent customer service
- Manage resolution of defects
- Provide technical assistant to engineers to resolve operation issues
This is a very busy role and requires so you will need excellent time management skills, and well as the ability to problem solve quickly. Good IT skills on MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are also a must for this role.
Salary is dependent on experience, and candidates with some administration skills looking to move into scheduling will be considered.
